ASSAULT X2 TEAR IT UP

Well here it is the assaultx2 its more popular then i could have ever imagined I've built 3 in the last week in varying fabrics with varying features this pack is still evolving and its what i will be improving upon in the next couple weeks you can expect to see a slight change in the shoulder straps as well as improvement in the compression system i am also switching to finishing my seams with grosgrain instead of a double stitched  french this doesnt change durability it will just give a little more room as it will use about 1/8 inch less fabric in each seam the biggest change by far is i am seriously thinking of switching to xpac this is still up in the air feedback is welcome anyway enough of my blab lets talk about the packs. Up first is Eugene leafty's X2 it is built with a all dynemma gridstop body and side pockets and a 70d back pocket. The roll tops is sil. Custom work is the d loops on the shoulder straps total pack weight is 9.5 ounces. Next is Greg Foster's X2 it is also built with dynemma gridstop including all the pockets the roll top is 70d sil. custom work includes a hydration hook and ice axe loops it has a webbing waistbelt and comes in at 9.5 also. and last but most defiantly not last  is a beautiful X2 made for andy chasse this pack is made with a body of 70d sil a bottom of gridstop lycra mesh pockets and a 30d sil top

  2. Wow, I just stumbled across your blog while googling Dyneema Gridstop. I want to start making my own outdoor clothing and gear, and your packs look really, really good. Unfortunately I already have a GoLite jam pack made of Dyneema Gridstop, but I hope that you sell lots of these!
